Welcome to the Cranston Teachers Alliance, Local 1704! You are a member of a professional organization that is over 1000 members strong and growing. Our membership includes all regularly appointed teachers, paraprofessionals, and nurse teachers. You are also a member of the Rhode Island Federation of Teachers and Health Professionals (RIFTHP), the AFL-CIO, and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT).

As a union of educators, we are part of a movement that seeks to improve the quality of life for all working people. We support investment in public education to ensure a stronger future for our students and our city.
